No.1 Li River
Located in northeastern Guangxi, Li River flows southwards from its source, then passes Guilin, Yangshuo and some other places of Guangxi. With an overall length of 426 kilometers, it is the largest and most beautiful tourist area of karst landscapes in the world.
Today, Li River cruise is very popular which is considered to be a rapid and good way to approach the charming Guilin. And the Guilin to Yangshuo part is the best, which is 63 kilometers long. Every view here is a typical Chinese ink painting, with clear water and eye-catching sceneries on both sides.
No.2 Elephant Trunk Hill
Elephant Trunk Hill is the symbol of Guilin, with a history of over 1,000 years. Looking it at the distance just a little bit, this hill is very much like an elephant drinking water from Li River, hence the name. More detailed, you can also visit the Water Moon Cave, Puxian Pagoda, Xiang Yan (eyes of elephant) Rock etc.
No.3 Reed Flute Cave
Located in northwest of Guilin, Reed Flute Cave is honored as 'the Art Palace of Nature' for its inside karst landscape wonders. This cave is 240 meters long, with a widest-point of 93 meters and a highest-point of 1.8 meters. Entering into it, you can see lots of peculiar stalagmites, stalactites, stalagnates and other masterpieces of nature. In addition, over 77 mural paintings are added to your visual feast, which can be traced back to 1, 000 years ago but can be recognized till today.
Landscape of Karst Caves
Guilin belongs to representative karst landform limestone geography. So, it is very rich in karst cave landscapes. Besides the Reed Flute Cave mentioned above, Crown Cave and Fengyu Cave are top visited ones too. The Former one is located 29 kilometers southern Guilin downtown as a huge underground river karst cave. You can visit here by Bamboo rafting. While the latter one is honored as 'the No.1 Cave in Asia', with view area on land, underground river drifting area, cultural and entertainment area etc. Besides, Silver Cave is an outstanding representative too. Located at the east bank of the Li River, Daxu Ancient Town ranks first among the four well-known ancient towns of Guangxi. While visiting here, a town with a history of over 600 years, you can see local-favored houses, many historical remains and the rural leisure of locals. Tomb of Prince Jingjiang is a tomb group of 320 ones for seignior, princess and generals of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

You can visit Diecai Hill- a place of confluence of beautiful sceneries while Diecai Park is the best spot to take pictures of Guilin's sunrise; or transfer to Guilin's largest comprehensive park, namely Seven Star Park for a visit; or enjoy both unique natural charms and lots of ancient inscriptions on precipices in Duxiu Peak. If you are having a Li River cruise, you will see Yangdi Village, the first scenic spot upon arrival in Yangshuo. Famous Nearby Attractions
Yangshuo West Street: a very famous pedestrian street with a history of one thousand years. You will feel not only the traditional Chinese folklore but a familiar strong flavor of western life. Generally, people choose Li River cruise directly reaching Yangshuo, or takes around 1.5 hours' drive to there.
Dragon Back Rice Terrace: the No.1 among all terraced field areas in China, also renowned for Zhuang Ethnic Group culture. It takes 2.5-3 hours' drive from Guilin to Dragon Back Rice Terrace.
Merryland and Ling Canal: respectively a famous theme park in China and a canal connects Yangtze and Zhujiang Rivers, both in Xingan County and 60 kilometers from Guilin City, takes around 1.5 hours drive.
