Been listed in the Guinness World Records for its various ways to view the karst cave, folk architecture and amorous performance, the Crown Cave is as if the fairyland on earth.

Crown Cave, located in Caoping Village, 29km south of Guilin city, is one of the most famous tourist spots of Guilin. It stands on the bank of the charming Li River for hundreds of years and has attracted countless poets, scholars and nobles. Known as the only tourist scenic spot along the pith part of Li River, it is rated as the “Pearl of Li River”.

Feature

Covering an area of more than 6,000 acres, the Crown Cave is the largest comprehensive tour resort. Centered on the underground river, it is a combination of sightseeing, catering and entertainment. With the total length of 12 kilometers, stalagmites abound inside the Crown Cave, making grotesque and imposing shapes illuminated by lights.

There are 3 kilometers long interior course. Five ways are arranged including sightseeing roller coaster, elevator, light rail and rafting.

Xu Xiake's Journey Here

In 1673, Ming geographer Xu Xiake was attracted by its fame and he recorded the details about the Crown Cave in his masterpiece "Travel Notes of Xu Xiake".
