Jiuzhaigou Aba Weather

Jiuzhaigou is famous not only for its beautiful views, but for its pleasant weather as well. It belongs to the moisture plateau climate. Jiuzhaigou climate features short summer, long winter and great differences in temperature during day and night. The hottest time is during June and January is the coldest month throughout the year with the lowest temperature of 36.32 °F(2.4°C)
The peaks of mountains in Jiuzhaigou are covered by snow all the year round.

Spring - Spring  is  very  cold  and  the  area  covered  with  snow  before  April.

Summer - The  temperature  in  summer  is  stable.  The  temperature  is  from  66°F  ~  71°F.  But  it  is  still  a  little  cold  at  summer  nights.  So  it  is  better  to  prepare  a  flimsy  sweater.

Fall - It  is  very  comfortable  and  pleasant.  But  the  temperature  changes  quickly  from  daytimes  to  nights  and  after  October,  the  soil  becomes  frozen  and  it  gets  colder  and  colder  every  day.

Winter - It  is  very  cold  in  winter  and  the  temperature  is  usually  below  frozen  point  and  coming  to  Jiuzhaigou  in  winter  is  not  recommended.
