A: Yes you can do the one day sightseeing tour to Mt.Emei. But you won't have enough time travel up to Golden Summit, unless you skip the top part of the mountain. Better to stay one night in Mt.Emei, so you'll have much time to explore around and you can take time visit Leshan Giant Buddha. Chengdu to Mt.Emei coach drive take about 1.5-2hours and there are many budget hotels in town. Cheers.

Lamothe Q: Oct and Nov seems best to be in Juizhaigou but what's the weather like in July? 2011.5.19

A: You are right. Oct. and Nov. are the best season to view the natural beauty there. Well, in July, it is very hot, with the average temp of about 28C. If it rains during the month, there will be big difference in temp for the daytime and nights. In that case, a light jacket may be necessary.

A: If walk, you may need to walk a lot in the scenic area. There are also sightseeing Buses there. If you are tired by walking, you can take the bus.

wiredfrog Q: May I know is there a mosque and muslim restaurant at Jiuzhaigou? What about muslim tour? Thank you. 2010.2.17

A: Hi, there is a Muslim restaurant there named Huixiangshifu, where you can enjoy the Muslim Food. The specific location is at the opposite of Jiuzhai Land Tax, Pengfeng Valley. As for the mosque, you can just find in Chengdu city, not in the scenic area. The relevant tour is hardly heard, but you can consult the owner of the restaurant as you have dinner in the Muslim Restaurant.
