Mounigou Valley

Mounigou Valley, located in Songpan County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, covers an area of 160 square kilometers has a maximum altitude of 4070 meters and a minimum altitude of 2800 meters, 300 kilometers away from Chengdu. Combining the beauty of Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong together, Mounigou Valley will not freeze in winter even in heavy snow day. So visitors can still enter.

Mounigou Valley exists two major landscapes: Zhaga Falls and Erdao Sea. In addition, Swan Lake and Rhino Sea are also popular.

Zhaga Fall

In the primeval forest of Mounigou Valley Scenic Area, a huge flow of water falls down from the 104-meter-high stepped travertine rock. It is the largest travertine waterfall - Zhaga Fall. Zhaga Fall is located in an altitude of 3,270 meters. It is 93.2 meters high and 35 meters wide itself.

Seas

Erdao Sea

Erdao Sea is the largest lake in the scenic area, covering an area of 13,300 square meters and located in the heart of the scenic, is the soul of the whole scenic. The surface of the lake is calm, but the undercurrent flows at the bottom of the lake. Exposing to this area, you can really feel the aura of the nature. It is really wonderful.

Rhinoceros Sea

Rhinoceros Sea, 2.2 kilometers long, 17 meters deep, has an altitude of 2400 meters, whose deepest place can reach over 40 meters. It is the second biggest sea in Jiuzhaigou. The clouds’ reflection makes people can’t tell where the sky is and where the sea is. The Coleuses around the lakeshore are pretty resplendent and beautiful. The end of the north shore is full of reeds, the south bank of the export both have woods and silver waterfall. A large intoxicating blue lake stands in the middle. All of these sceneries make the people forget to leave away.

Swan Lake

Swan Lake covers an area of 13,300 square meters. The water is dark blue. Due to the wild duck and swan swimming in it, this lake is named after this and is renowned for this.
