Hong Kong Ocean Park

Covering an area of more than 870,000 square meters, Hong Kong Ocean Park is the largest ocean park in Asia. Located on the southern side of Hong Kong, the ocean park is surrounded by the sea on three sides. The park is separated by a large mountain into two areas, The Summit (Headland) and The Waterfront (Lowland) respectively, which are connected by the Cable Car and Ocean Express funicular train. Visitors can also take the world’s second longest outdoor escalator to visit the park.

Featured with animal exhibits, summit, thrill rides and shows, Ocean Park offers guests an experience that blends entertainment with education and conservation. The ocean is divided into two parts, the Summit and the Water front. The attractions here include Marine World, Thrill Mountain, Adventure Land, Polar Adventure, Amazing Asian Animals, Lowland Gardens, Whisker's Harbor and the Rainforest.

Attractions

Polar Adventure

It is the newest attraction, which were opened on 13 July 2012. Polar adventure lets you explore the North and South poles in one day. You will see king penguins, southern rockhopper penguins, and gentoo penguins at the South Pole Spectacular and the long-tusked Pacific walruses, snowy owls, and Arctic foxes at the North Pole Encounter

Thrill Mountain

Here provides Hair Raiser, Whirly Bird, Bumper Blaster, Rev Booster, and The Flash. You can dangle off a cliff to feel the sensation of flight, hang upside down while swinging on The Flash and ride on the Rev Booster to experience the high speed and energetic.

Amazing Asian Animals

You can visit some of Asia’s rarest animals, such as the giant pandas, red pandas, Chinese giant salamanders and Chinese Alligators, goldfish and colorful birds, etc.

Adventure Land

In this zone, you can take the Mine Train to overlook Aberdeen Harbor, or take the Raging River through the tropical waterfalls, narrow ravines and finishes by shooting them down a slide at almost 60 km/h. You can also take the world’s second largest outdoor escalator here.

Rainforest

The Rainforest is Ocean Park's great jungle exhibit, complete with waterfalls, vegetation, wildflowers and some of the most fascinating animals in the world. Here you also find the Rapids water ride, one of the most popular ones.

Old Hong Kong

Old Hong Kong at Ocean Park is the park’s tribute to the Hong Kong in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. The busy street scenes reflect the many aspects of life in the old days, its food, fashion, transportation and entertainment.

The Grand Aquarium

It’s one of the best aquariums and marine life displays in the world. Over 5,000 fish and more than 400 different species are lived in a huge blue and yellow dome-like structure. As you go through the tunnel, its hard enough to try to focus on any one thing with so much coming at you at all times.

Whisker's Harbor

Here is the child kingdom. Dolphin University, Balloon Up-up-and-away, Clown a Round, Frog Hopper, Merry-go-round, Bouncer House, Whiskers Harbors Playground, and Animal Story Corner are set up here for kids to explore and experience.

Sea Dreams

Dolphins, sea lions and their trainers show off for you as they dance to the music, swim, jump and slide. It is a very fun, educational and entertaining show. Show Time: 7:00pm. Show Place: Ocean Theatre in Marine World at the Summit

Sky Fair Celebrations

A troop of acrobats, clowns and jugglers perform their stunts, balancing acts and tricks at Sky Fair in the Waterfront. Show Time:11:30am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm, 4:30pm. Show Place: Sky Fair by the Big Balloon at the Waterfront.

Emperors of the Sky

An educational bird show featuring birds of prey including steppes eagles, lanner falcons, striated caracaras and turkey vultures, along with 70 other species of birds, at the newly refurbished Bird Theatre. Show Time: 11:00am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm, 5:00pm. Show place: Bird Theatre in Amazing Asian Animals at the Waterfront

Symbio

Symbio is Ocean Park’s signature night show performed every day at the Aqua City Lagoon. Water, fire, laser beams, music, fireworks, on a 360 degree water screen and fierce dragons will make you feel exciting. Show Time: 8:00pm. Show place: Watch all around Aqua City Lagoon at the Waterfront.
