No.1 Lake Karakuli
Lake Karakuli, a rare plateau lake in the world, processes poetic and picturesque sceneries which is as if a sparking pearl among the mountains. The Kyrgyz nomads prefer to graze here. No.2 Tomb of Abakh Khoja
Also known as Xiangfei Mu, Tomb of Abakh Khoja is said to be the resting place of a Concubine of Emperor Qianlong in Qing Dynasty. In fact, it is an ancient Islamic structure which is recognized as the largest scale and most influential mausoleum of Islam’s saint descendants in Xinjiang. Occupying an area of 2 hectares, it displays 58 visible tombs of five generations of Khoja family.
No.3 Kashgar Old Town
Kashgar Old Town, a key town on the ancient Silk Road, is as if a vivid scroll presents the Uygur folk customs. Located in the center of Kashgar, it has been the only mazy town featuring Islamic culture. Most houses are wood-brick structures which have preserved the original Islamic style. Rated as the township of jade, melon and fruit, it is a place where tourists not only can buy special souvenirs but also can experience the authentic Uygur life.

Known as the birthplace of Uygur culture, Kashgar centralizes the colorful Uygur culture. Famous Nearby Attractions
Mallikurwatur Ruins: the ancient city of Yutian Kingdom, an important point on the old Silk Road. Being abandoned for thousand years, it may not as splendid as it was. Tourists can see many ancient tombs, architectural buildings and mysterious caverns here. It is about 530km and 9 hours drive from Kashgar.
Amannishahan Tomb: the muse-see attraction in Hotan, a unique Islamic tomb in honor of the outstanding poetess and musician Amannishahan who collected and organized the Twelve Muqam known as the “mother of Uygur music.”
Kizilgaha Thousand Buddha Cave: about 773 km from Kashgar, is rated as the second Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes in China for its long history earlier than Maogao Grottoes and its large scale. 47 caves are excavated at present, among which 38 caves are well preserved. Tourists can enjoy the fatanstic murals in each cave, presenting the splendid Buddhism culture of ancient Qiuci Kingdom in Tang Dynasty.|
