Reputed as a grand banquet which demonstrates a real sense of cleansing souls, Impression Lijiang conveys the individual feelings about the seductive Lijiang.

Impression Lijiang is a large scale live-action performance which composes of two parts: Impression of the Snow Mountain and Impression of the Old Town. Being conducted on the mountain with an elevation of 3,100 meters, this performance offers us great shocks that the real life brings.

Content of the Performance

The First Part - Impression of the Snow Mountain

With Jade Dragon Snow Mountain as its background, it reflects the strength of nature. Through a series of dialogues between the mountain and the people come from all directions, the bond of life and nature is stressed.

The Second Part-Impression of the Old Town

This part mainly offers the conversation to ancestors, embodying there is a holy kingdom have been ingrained in people’s inner hearts from ancient times.

Non-professional Actors Bring the Authentic Life

Selected from the local people in Lijiang, the whole show is performed by 10 minority invigorative men, 16 ordinary famers from rural villages and 500 non-professional actors who have dark skin. It is hard to deny their plain singing, hot sweat and reality.

The Ancient Caravans

The Tea Horse Road gives people a kind of feeling walking in heaven. Caravan had played an important role in Naxi people’s life that also led Lijiang Old Town a key town on the Ancient Tea Horse Route in the Western Yunnan. Naxi people were proud to join the caravans and it was a glory to be the leader.

Drinking to the Mountain

The minority is born to have the ability to drink, just as they are born to sing and dance. They drink not only when they are unhappy. This group of hot-blooded men at the foot of the snow mountain led a happy life for they are optimistic and enthusiastic.
