As the only park that specially serving children, Children’s Park is so called because the formal opening to traffic of the first children's train in China on June 1st,1956.

Built in 1925, it was originally called Railway Park, and renamed as Children’s Park because the formal opening to traffic of the first children's train in China on June 1st, 1956. The park lies on No.295 Gogol Street in Harbin, is the only park that specially serving children.

Children’s Train

With a total length of two kilometers, the well-known children’s railway runs around the whole park. The railway has only two stations, namely Harbin Station and Beijing Station. The children’s train is managed by children themselves, including driver, stoker, ticket inspectors, trainman, car inspector and so on. The train covers six carriages with soft seats with a total capacity of 192 passengers.

Other Facilities

Covering an area of 17 hectares, the park provides 21 amusement equipments including dodgems, Ferris Wheel, automobile race, Carousel, skateboards, Adventure Palace, chariots and so on. Besides, the only inland river floats through the park. Covered with green trees, flowers, the park is an ideal paradise for children as well as a tranquil and pretty for adults.
