Pubs and bars can be found in large clusters on Guilin Road. Many young people crowd into bars, dancing, drinking, and singing. Foreigners can also be found in hordes there, as well as in cafes and teahouses. Those places are more popular on weekends or holidays. Reservation of tables is necessary during holiday season.

After a busy day, many families choose to have fun in South Lake Park which is the second biggest city park after Summer Palace in China. And Wenhua Square(Dizhi Gong) is always crowded in every wonderful evening and night, where performs music fountain and artist program.

If you want to enjoy authentic northeast culture, try Errenzhuan, a traditional performance from Northeast China which originated over 300 years ago. Heping Theater, Liulaogen Theater, and Dongbeifeng Theater are recommended.
