A nice trip

Dear Alice:

I don't know if you still remember me. I'm Crystal and i booked a Silk Road Adventure. I was the lady that kept bothering you about the safty of my money. Now you should remember me :) I know i was a little paranoid, even my husband asked me to leave you alone about the money issue. I'm glad it went all well. As you see, paying for a trip is different than pruchasing goods at a store. I can see what i'm buying at the store and if i don't like it, i won't buy it. Booking a tour is like putting my money into an empty box and hope something will appear in the box when I open it again. Everything turned out all good so I guess all that worry wasn't really necessary. And here I have to thank you for your diligent and excellent work. If there's a medal for consultants, I would give you one.

The adventure was really a nice way to experience something different. As you know I'm from the UK, where the weather's always humid and rains a lot. Quite the reverse, Silk Road goes mostly into deserts where the weather is dry and hot. Especially the Flaming Mountain. It was so hot there that I felt my skin was going to come off. The guide introduced an interesting story about the Flaming Mountain. That was Journey to the West. I'm very interested in the story. I bought the books and I'll read more later.

I think this trip was really well designed. Because not only could I see all the sceneries along the silk road, but also I was able to visit the capital of China. I always wanted to visit the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, but at the same time I have always been hearing stuff about the Silk Road. This trip puts the two perfectly together. I saw there were other tours about Silk Road as well, however, I only had two weeks off so I picked the shortest one, but I still had to take another day off since the trip was 13 days.

I enjoyed my time with other tourists in the same team. They were people from all over the world. I made friends with a couple of people and they were really nice. I think it is a really nice way to make friends. They are back in their country now so we keep in touch by msn. A lot of long distance tours like the Silk Road starts from big cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. That way, tourists will have a chance to visit the signature cities of China, as well as the place they want to visit in the tour. Of course I will add you Crystal, and you are not old at all. How old you are is how old you feel. You travel a lot, that means you have a young heart. And i will sure help you with more trips if you feel like travelling again.
