    Zhangjiajie
    Arrive in Zhangjiajie. Pick up from Airport/Railway Station in Zhangjiajie.
    Overnight in Zhangjiajie
    Day 2
    Zhangjiajie - Furong Town - Phoenix Town
    Transer to Furong Town in the morning. Visit Furong Town, Mengdonghe River (rafting fee is at your own expense). Transfer to Phoenix Town in the afternoon.
    Overnight in Phoenix Town
    Day 3
    Phoenix Town - Zhangjiajie
    Visit Phoenix Town. Transfer to Zhangjiajie in the afternoon.
    Overnight in Zhangjiajie
    Day 4
    Zhangjiajie
    Visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Huangshi Village, Jinbian Stream.
    Overnight in Wulingyuan
    Day 5
    Zhangjiajie
    Visit Mt. Tianzishan (cable car to the top and elevator down). Transfer to Airport/Hotel/Railway Station in Zhangjiajie and Departure
    Day 1 Zhangjiajie
    Upon arrival, our guide meets you and transfer you to the hotel and live in downtown. The rest of the day is free for personal arrangement.
     
    Day 2 Zhangjiajie>>Furong Town>>Phoenix Town
    Morning after breakfast, you will be transfered to Furong Town, an ancient town with the feature of Tujia minority people, and history and culture of more than 2000 years. You will have a chance to appreciate the river pier, old architectural structures and wooden stilted houses.

    Then experience Mengdonghe River Rafting Adventure. You will be thrilled by torrential rapids, which are interspersed with calm stretches, giving you a chance to enjoy the breathtaking scenery.

    After the rafting adventure at your own expense, drive to Phoenix Town and stay overnight there.
     
    Day 3 Phoenix Town>>Zhangjiajie
    Phoenix Town is an "Ancient Town of History and Culture." You can wander along dozens of flagstone-paved alleys and enjoy the unique architecture of local people, and taste the culture of Miao Ethnic Group people.

    Then drive to Zhangjiajie and stay overnight there.
     
    Day 4 Zhangjiajie
    Spend the entire day visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. It is known as the first state-level forest park in China and featuring its unique hills, queer ridges and peaks, tranquil valleys, thrilling streams and abundant plant and animal resources.

    You will experience Huangshi Village, the most important scenic spot in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. You can reach to its top and back by a cable car.

    After lunch, explore the Jinbian Stream with crystal clear water running quietly between strangely-shaped peaks.

    Drive to Wulingyuan and stay overnight there.
     
    Day 5 Zhangjiajie
    After breakfast, go to explore Mt. Tianzishan, which is renowned for four scenic wonders, namely Cloud Billows, Moon Brightness, Sun Glow and Winter Snow. Cable car is available for you to get to the top.Visit the Imperial Writing Brush Peaks, West Sea and Yuanjiajie Scenic Area. Back to the mountain foot by Bailong Elevator (cable car and elevator fee included), a glass elevator built on the side of a huge rock in Wulingyuan.

    Transfer you to the airport in prepare for your departure and end your pleasant trip.
     
    Pricing Policy
    Tipping is now considered by many locals to be a part of their normal remuneration. However, this is a matter of personal discretion. You may use following as a reference.
    Suggested Tipping: for local guide: $8 to $10 per person (guest) per day, for driver: $4 to $5 per person (guest) per day.

    1 Your length of stay in Zhangjiajie and Phoenix Town listed in our itineraries can be adjusted on line; but the extra charge is not included in the original charge.
    2 Generally speaking, these excluded lunch and dinner in our itineraries are optional; the price is according to the group size; but may we have your attention on following point: tips to local guide and driver are must remuneration if you prefer to self-catering.
    3 We offer hotel upgrade service but extra charge to the hotel is at your own.

    Cancellation and refund policy for Tours reservation
    If you want to cancel your booking or part of it, you must advise us in advance. The letter must be signed by the lead name on the booking and once we receive it you should expect to receive a cancellation letter within 24 hours. If you do not then please contact us to ensure your letter has been received.
    To cover the cost of processing your cancellation and to compensate us for the risk that we may not be able to resell your travel arrangements, we make a cancellation charge on the scale shown below. The person who made the booking is responsible for paying this charge. The size of the charge depends on when we receive your cancellation notice or letter or how you would like us to deal with your payment providing that we have received your full payment for the tours.

    JeffCypress Q: bus fenghuang to wulingyuan Zhangjiajie is there bus from Fenghuang to wulingyuan and the schedule 2012.11.9

    A: There are direct buses at 8am, 2pm from fenghuang to Wulingyuan. Another option is to take bus from Fenghuang to Zhangjiajie first and then take bus from Zhangjiajie Bus center to Wulingyuan.

    NanM221 Q: I read on some weather forecast site that the temperature can get up to 34C in August. Is it just for the city or is it that hot up in the scenic park ? What about rain, is summer the rainy season ? Thanks 2012.6.2

    A: Hi, during August of Zhangjiajie, the average temperature could be about 30 C as you mentioned. The averge is for both the city and the scenic spot. But due to the speacial location and a large number of trees, the scenic spot can be a little cooler. During that time, the rainy season of Zhangjiajie has passed, but the sudden rain may happen from time to time.

    A: Yes, it is find. The rain season has just pass and the weather is dry then. For the rain has gone, the temperature may be higher. Generally, it is averagely around 20C.
