    The tour starts at around 2:00pm and please make sure you arrive in Shanghai before 1:00pm.
    Arrive in Shanghai. Pick up at Airport/Hotel/Railway Station in Shanghai. Visit Nanjing Road, The Bund, Xintiandi Area.
    Overnight in Shanghai
    Shanghai - Hangzhou
    Transfer to Hangzhou in the morning. Visit Feilaifeng Peak, Lingyin Temple, Red Carp Pond, West Lake (cruise tickets included).
    Overnight in Hangzhou
    Hangzhou - Wuzhen - Shanghai
    Transfer to Wuzhen in the morning. Visit Ancient Town of Wuzhen (cruise tickets not included). Transfer to Shanghai in the afternoon.

    Day 1 Shanghai
    The tour starts at around 2:00pm and please make sure you arrive in Shanghai before 1:00pm. The guide will help you to make hotel check-in or arrange free activities if you arrive earlier.

    The guide meets you at the Shanghai Airport/Railway Station/Hotel.

    Stroll around in Shanghai's most famous thoroughfare - Nanjing Road and The Bund, Modern and old stores line alongside the street and many tourists jostle to have their pictures taken at the Nanjing Road sculpture. Then move on to the Bund. Ramble along the Bund which stretches one mile along the western bank of the Huangpu River. The Bund houses 52 buildings of various architectural styles, which has been regarded as one of the most recognizable architectural symbols of Shanghai.

    After visit The Bund and Nanjing Road then we will go to Xintiandi Area (French Concession). Xintiandi Area, which was built and re-orgnized on the basis of Shanghai's unqiue characteristics-Shikumen architectural structures, is well-known as a new stylish pedestrain street for Cuisines, Commerce, Entertainment and Culture tourism spot.
    After Breakfast, Then you leave Shanghai For Hangzhou City.

    Your trip starts from the sightseeing of Linyin Temple, one of the ten famous ancient Buddhist temples in China. It has been a center of worship for Buddhism. With many old trees, bamboo groves, Buddhist rock carvings, and quiet and beautiful surroundings, the temple has received numerous tourists from all over the world.

    Next attraction is Feilaifeng Peak. There are many legends about the peak's name. It is a pure limestone mountain scattered with lots of large stones like a flying dragon, a running elephant, a crouching tiger, and a fleeting monkey. The caves shelter many stone Buddha statues in a variety of poses ranging from standing, to sitting, to sleeping.

    Sightsee around West Lake while sailing on its waters (cruise tickets included), Hangzhou's most famous scenic sight. The islets and temples, pavilions and gardens, causeways and arched bridges of this jade lake constitute the supreme example of lakeside beauty in China.

    Move to the Red Carp Pond. It is the heart of viewing fish at Flower Harbor Park, one of the ten places of interests at West Lake. Countless carps live and play in Red Carp Pond, fascinating thousands of tourists each year.
    Day 3 Hangzhou>>Wuzhen>>Shanghai
    In the morning drive to the Ancient Town of Wuzhen (cruise tickets not included), one of six ancient towns south of Yangtze River. Wuzhen displays its 2,000 year history through its ancient stone bridges floating on calm water, its stone pathways between the mottled walls and its delicate wood carvings. As a living fossil in the orient with a long history, it gives a unique experience through its profound cultural background. It is regarded as the "book cover" of southern China.

    Later, drive back to Shanghai.
    Day 4 Shanghai
    Today you enjoy a rich trip beginning with the Jade Buddha Temple. Built in 1918, in the style of the Song Dynasty, the temple houses two valuable jade statues - the Sitting Buddha and the Recumbent Buddha.

    Then we visit the Shanghai Museum and enjoy Chinese culture. With a collection of over 120,000 pieces, it is a large museum of ancient Chinese art.

    After Lunch we visit the City God Temple and the Yuyuan Garden - Yuyuan Garden is one of the traditional Chinese private gardens in Shanghai. Yuyuan Garden has the exquisite layout, beautiful scenery, and the artistic style of many different architecture styles. It has been referred to as a crystallization of the Chinese garden culture.

    Lastly we enjoy an interesting night cruise on the Huangpu River - the mother river of Shanghai (cruise tickets included). The scene on both sides gives you a sweeping perspective of Shanghai old and new. Take a look at the Oriental Pearl TV Tower (exterior view, ticket to the tower not included).
    Day 5 Shanghai
    Your trip comes to an end and you are escorted to the airport or railway station in Shanghai.

    Tipping is now considered by many locals to be a part of their normal remuneration. However, this is a matter of personal discretion. You may use following as a reference.
    Suggested Tipping: for local guide: $8 to $10 per person (guest) per day, for driver: $4 to $5 per person (guest) per day.

The letter must be signed by the lead name on the booking and once we receive it you should expect to receive a cancellation letter within 24 hours. If you do not then please contact us to ensure your letter has been received.
    To cover the cost of processing your cancellation and to compensate us for the risk that we may not be able to resell your travel arrangements, we make a cancellation charge on the scale shown below. The person who made the booking is responsible for paying this charge. The size of the charge depends on when we receive your cancellation notice or letter or how you would like us to deal with your payment providing that we have received your full payment for the tours.

    DCL11 Q: When is a good time to visit Hangzhou? 2012.11.14

    A: Actually, this city could be visited throughout a year. Considering wether condition, spring to early summer from April to the early June should be comfortable here.

    Susan R Q: I wanna know the most economical way to reach Wuzhen from Hangzhou.And whether it's a good decision to arrange a trip to Wuzhen if I wanna visit an old water town. Thanks. 2012.4.17

    A: The most economical way is take the bus from Hangzhou to Wuzhen. You can go to Hangzhou East Bus Station to take bus to Wuzhen. It costs around CNY 25 and just takes 1.5 to 2 hours. If you really want to have a thorough experience of Wuzhen Water Town, I suggest you saty there for a night. The night view is awesome.

    Monotone Q: It says that there are six ancient towns south of Yangtza River. What are they besides this Wuzhen? And which one is best? 2011.5.27

    A: The six towns are Zhouzhuang, Tongli, Xitang, Wuzhen, Nanxun, and Zhujiajiao. They are famed for different things, zhouzhuang for birdges while zhujiajiao for water.
