    This tour starts around 2:00pm. So make sure you arrive in Lijiang before 2:00pm. Arrive in Lijiang. Pick up at Airport/Hotel/Railway Station in Lijiang. Visit Lijiang Old Town, Square Street.

    Visit The First Bend of the Yangtze, Tiger Leaping Gorge, Stone Drum Town.

    Visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Yak Meadow (round trip cable car included), Dongba Valley, Yufeng Lamasery, Shuhe Naxi Village.

    This tour starts around 2:00pm. So make sure you arrive in Lijiang before 2:00pm.

    Upon arrival, our guide picks you up at the Airport/Hotel/Railway Station in Lijiang.

    Then go to visit Square Street at the core of Lijiang Old Town. Four main streets radiate from Square Street and extend to the four different directions from that point. Owing to its special characteristics of ethnic culture, urban layout and historical authenticity.

    Later, scroll on Lijiang Old Town, a well-preserved old city of ethnic minorities with brilliant culture, is the center of Naxi Ethnic Minority Autonomous County in Yunnan.
     
    Day 2 Lijiang
    Morning after breakfast, drive to the Stone Drum Town to overlook the First Bend of the Yangtze. You can overlook the Yangtze River's extraordinary turn, which creates beautiful and marvelous views that startle the imagination.

    Then head for Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Gorge). Around 15 km in length, the gorge is locat where the river passes between 5,596 meters Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and 5,396 meters Haba Snow Mountains in a series of rapids under steep 2000 meters cliffs. Legend says that in order to escape from a hunter, a tiger jumped across the river at the narrowest point (still 25 meters wide), hence the name.

    You can appreciate Ancient Naxi Music in the evening.
     
    Day 3 Lijiang
    Today you visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. From a distance the snow-covered and fog-enlaced mountain looks like a dragon flying among the clouds, hence it gets the name. It is considered as the soul of both Lijiang City and Naxi nationality.You can reach the Yak Meadow by cable car (round trip cable car included) and enjoy an amazing view.

    Then visit the Dongba Valley of Minorities in Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Valley and Yufeng Lamasery on the slopes of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

    Lastly, Move to the peaceful Shuhe Naxi Village, which is home to Naxi people living in their traditional way, featuring a nice temple complex.
     
    Day 4 Lijiang
    After breakfast, transfer you to the Airport/Hotel/Railway Station in Lijiang and your trip ends.
     
    Pricing Policy
    Tipping is now considered by many locals to be a part of their normal remuneration. However, this is a matter of personal discretion. You may use following as a reference.
    Suggested Tipping: for local guide: $8 to $10 per person (guest) per day, for driver: $4 to $5 per person (guest) per day.

    1 Your length of stay in Lijiang listed in our itineraries can be adjusted on line; but the extra charge is not included in the original charge.
    2 Generally speaking, these excluded lunch and dinner in our itineraries are optional; the price is according to the group size; but may we have your attention on following point: tips to local guide and driver are must remuneration if you prefer to self-catering.

    Cancellation and refund policy for Tours reservation
    If you want to cancel your booking or part of it, you must advise us in advance. The letter must be signed by the lead name on the booking and once we receive it you should expect to receive a cancellation letter within 24 hours. If you do not then please contact us to ensure your letter has been received.
    To cover the cost of processing your cancellation and to compensate us for the risk that we may not be able to resell your travel arrangements, we make a cancellation charge on the scale shown below. The person who made the booking is responsible for paying this charge. The size of the charge depends on when we receive your cancellation notice or letter or how you would like us to deal with your payment providing that we have received your full payment for the tours.

    anthony Q: is there direct flight from Guilin to Lijiang 2012.11.27

    A: I'm afraid there is no direct flight from Guilin to Lijiang, even no direct train and long-distance bus. Whatever transport you take, Kunming can be chosen as a transference place. Therefore, from Guilin, you can take a train to Kunming first, then transfer to train there to Lijiang. It is the same way if you wanna take the long-distance bus: Guilin - Kunming - Lijiang.

    A: Hi, the average temperature is 13C in April in Lijiang.

    A: It will be a little bit cold there at the time. If there is no snow, it will be warm. During the daytime, the temperature is about 10 degrees, colder in early morning and night. Temperature difference between the day and night reaches ten degrees. So, take both sun block and warm clothes with you. Check the weather on line before leaving!

    A: if you only to visit the Gorge in Lijiang side takes 1~1.5hours; if you go from Qiaotou in Shangri-La side takes around 2.5hours.
