    This tour starts around 2:00pm. So make sure you arrive in Lijiang before 2:00pm. Arrive in Lijiang. Pick up at Airport/Hotel/Railway Station in Lijiang. Visit Lijiang Old Town, Square Street.
    Overnight in Lijiang

    Visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Yak Meadow (round trip cable car included), Dongba Valley, Yufeng Lamasery, Mural in Baisha Village.

    Transfer to Airport/Railway Station in Lijiang and Departure.
    Day 1 Lijiang
    This tour starts around 2:00pm. So make sure you arrive in Lijiang before 2:00pm.

    Upon arrival, our guide picks you up at the airport.

    Then go to visit Square Street at the core of Lijiang Old Town. Four main streets radiate from Square Street and extend to the four different directions from that point. Owing to its special characteristics of ethnic culture, urban layout and historical authenticity.

    At last, scroll on Lijiang Old Town, a well-preserved old city of ethnic minorities with brilliant culture, is the center of Naxi Ethnic Minority Autonomous County in Yunnan.
    Day 2 Lijiang
    Today you visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. From a distance the snow-covered and fog-enlaced mountain looks like a dragon flying among the clouds, hence it gets the name. It has been considered as the soul of both Lijiang City and Naxi nationality. You can reach the Yak Meadow by round trip cable car and enjoy an amazing view.

    Then visit the Dongba Valley of Minorities in Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Valley and Yufeng Lamasery on the slopes of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

    Lastly, appreciate Mural in Baisha Village. The Baisha Mural was made from 1385 to 1619, employing the eclectic artist energies of Chinese Taoist, Tibetan and Naxi Buddhists and local dongba shamans.
    Day 3 Lijiang
    After breakfast, transfer you to the airport and your trip ends.
     
    Pricing Policy
    Tipping is now considered by many locals to be a part of their normal remuneration. However, this is a matter of personal discretion. You may use following as a reference.
    Suggested Tipping: for local guide: $8 to $10 per person (guest) per day, for driver: $4 to $5 per person (guest) per day.

    1 Your length of stay in Lijiang listed in our itineraries can be adjusted on line; but the extra charge is not included in the original charge.
    2 Generally speaking, these excluded lunch and dinner in our itineraries are optional; the price is according to the group size; but may we have your attention on following point: tips to local guide and driver are must remuneration if you prefer to self-catering.

    Cancellation and refund policy for Tours reservation
    If you want to cancel your booking or part of it, you must advise us in advance. The letter must be signed by the lead name on the booking and once we receive it you should expect to receive a cancellation letter within 24 hours. If you do not then please contact us to ensure your letter has been received.
    To cover the cost of processing your cancellation and to compensate us for the risk that we may not be able to resell your travel arrangements, we make a cancellation charge on the scale shown below. The person who made the booking is responsible for paying this charge. The size of the charge depends on when we receive your cancellation notice or letter or how you would like us to deal with your payment providing that we have received your full payment for the tours.

    mldaltorio Q: What about the weather in terms of temperature in the high Lijiang Old Town during July, Agust, September. 2012.6.28

    A: The highest temp in July is about 25 or 26?. August and september are more or less the same, but a litter lower.

    pjlion Q: I'm planning a trip to Lijiang in July. Is weather good during that time? Also, besides flying, does anyone know if there is a cheaper way to get to Lijiang from Chengdu? Say, by train or bus? 2012.4.30

    A: There are more rain in July and August than in other months in Lijiang. You should bring rain gear along. As for the transportation, there is no direct train between Lijiang and Chengdu. You have to transfer with trains or with train and buses, which is kind of troublesome. So i suggest you take flight.

    A: You can take bus to Tengchong first, then cross the border and get into Myanmar.

    A: It is best for you to go there during May.
