After breakfast, drive to the Shanghai Museum, the exterior design of the round dome and the square base symbolizes the ancient idea of a round heaven and a square land.

Explore the Town God Temple (Chenghuangmiao), a Taoist Temple. The street is also known as Old Chenghuangmiao, where you cannot miss typical Shanghai snacks such as steamed stuffed buns.

Then, arrive at Yuyuan Garden, which has the exquisite layout, beautiful scenery, and the artistic style of Chinese private gardens.

Have a look around the bustling shopping district of Nanjing Road. Walk along The Bund and enjoy the view of Huangpu River, the Bund houses 52 buildings of various architectural styles, which have been regarded as some of the most recognizable architectural symbols of Shanghai.

The next stop is Oriental Pearl TV Tower for its marvelous exterior appearance (ticket to the tower not included), the landmark of Shanghai.

Ramble around the spectacular People's Square located in the heart of the city. Strolling along Xintiandi Area, which was built and re-orgnized on the basis of Shanghai's unqiue characteristics-Shikumen architectural structures, is well-known as a new stylish pedestrain street for Cuisines, Commerce, Entertainment and Culture tourism spot.

Drive to Hangzhou. On arrival, start the tour by cruising on the West Lake(cruise ticket included), the symbol of Hangzhou. It's one of the most famed tourist attractions in China. The islets and temples, pavilions and gardens, causeways and arched bridges of this jade-like lake have constituted the supreme example of lakeside beauty in China. See the Red Carp Pond, one of the ten places of interests at West Lake with countless carps living here.

Then move to the Lingyin Temple, one of the most prestigious Buddhist temples in China. Its highlight is the Great Hall with its 65 foot camphor-wood statue of the Buddha. Appreciate the Feilaifeng Peak with quaint photogenic scene.

Next attraction is Feilaifeng Peak. There are many legends about the peak's name. It is a pure limestone mountain scattered with lots of large stones like a flying dragon, a running elephant, a crouching tiger, and a fleeting monkey. The caves shelter many stone Buddha statues in a variety of poses ranging from standing, to sitting, to sleeping.

Before lunch, you can have leisure activities near the hotel or continue the unfinished trip with tour guide.

In the afternoon, Drive to Suzhou.

Drive to Zhouzhuang. Ancient Town of Zhouzhuang boasts all the beautiful features of South China water towns. Zhouzhuang was even bestowed the title of number one waterside town in China by overseas press. Take a boat-cruise in Zhouzhuang (boat ticket not included) and have a close touch with the life of local people.

Drive back to Suzhou.

First go to see the Tiger Hill, Atop the hill stands Cloud Rock Pagoda (Yunyan Ta), which the Suzhounese love to compare to the Tower of Pisa. By climbing the hill, you will find a number of historical sites some of which can be traced back over 2500 years to the founding of Suzhou.

Then visit the Humble Administrator's Garden - one of the four famous gardens in Suzhou, a classical luxurious garden, regarded as the "mother of the world's gardens" due to its interesting islands, bamboo houses, pinaster hillock and curvy water

Head for the Grand Canal, the longest man-made waterway in world. Walking along the Grand Canal, you can experience the life of locals.

Drive to Wuxi.

In the morning, visit the Yuantouzhu. It is an islet stretching into the lake, whose shape is scarily like the head of a turtle protruding from the water. And it is the best place to view the beautiful Lake Taihu.

Get to the Liyuan Garden surrounded by water on three sides. You can see green hills in distance and at close range the dike, long corridor and rockery.

Take a soft seat train to Yangzhou.

After breakfast, drive to Zhenjiang. Explore the Jinshan Temple. Perched atop the hill of the same name in the north of the city. The temple has a history of more than 1,600 years.

Then drive back to Yangzhou.

After breakfast, go to the Slender West Lake, Modeled after the much larger and more famous West Lake in Hangzhou, the Slender West Lake makes up in charm what it lacks in size. Winding through a stretch of park area, it is filled with water scenes and weeping willows.

Then go to the Heyuan Garden. Its maze of buildings and residences adapt some Western architectural styles, yet retain a nostalgic late Qing era feel.

Head for the Han Dynasty Tomb Museum. Constructed from precious timber, this grand-scaled tomb has a layout typical of a prince's tomb chamber.

Drive to Nanjing.

In the morning, visit Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Tomb. Sun Yat-sen (1866 - 1925) is recognized as the Father of Modern China. He led the revolutionists against the corrupt Qing Government resulting in the 1911 revolution which put an end to the feudal system.

Next, stop at Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, which is one of the biggest imperial tombs in China. Emperor Chengzu, Zhu Yuanzhang, the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) and Queen Ma were buried there.

Last, get to the Confucius Temple which is the best preserved of its type in China. The area is of great fun and a very pleasant part to walk around.

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Beijing (air ticket included).

Then enjoy a trip back to the Hutong area by rickshaw to ride through the narrow alleys and passages. Pay a visit to a traditional Chinese local family, learn more about Chinese culture by trying making Chinese food on your own. Then have lunch there.

Take a walk over the Silver Ingot Bridge (Yinding Bridge) to hear the explanation about the different thresholds that mark the entry to the courtyard houses.

Start your tour by visiting the Tian'anmen Square, the largest square of its kind in the world.

Then visit the Forbidden City to enjoy an emperor's life. It is the world's largest palace complex.

Explore the Temple of Heaven, the place for imperial rituals and worship.

In the evening, enjoy the famous Roast Duck feast (fees included) which looks brilliantly dark red, shining with oil and with crisp skin and tender meat.

A famous Chinese saying: "Not to Great Wall non-real man". Badaling Great Wall, the most representative part, was promoted as a key national cultural relic, protected under the approval of the State Council in 1961. Lacated in Yanqing County, over 70 kilometers (43 miles) north of Beijing. You can either climb up the Great Wall or take a cable car at your own expense.

Proceed to the Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved Chinese imperial garden. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the enchanting Lake Kunminghu.
